Families reunited for Christmas will not be able to go to the pub or a restaurant under the latest coronavirus rules. Up to three households are allowed to form a festive bubble between December 23-27 to let families spend Christmas together.
The five-day loosening of Covid restrictions includes a relaxation of social distancing rules, letting you hug your parents and stay overnight with family over Christmas.
But the UK-wide restrictions ban you from going to the pub or a restaurant with your bubble. Families can gather in private homes, public spaces like parks and beaches, and places of worship over the Christmas exemption period.
