LANDSDALE, Pa. - Three people were injured in a triple shooting in Landsdale, Pennsylvania on Thursday night, according to police. Authorities say the shooting happened around 10 p.m. on Hancock Street. According to police, two victims were transported to area hospitals and the third victim was transported by an ambulance to Abington Hospital. The conditions of the victims remain unknown at this time. SKYFOX flew over the scene on Thursday night when the scene was still active and several emergency vehicles were spotted. FOX 29's Shaynah Ferreira contacted Landsdale Police, but police have not yet released more information. This is a developing story.

OAKLAND, Calif. - The family and friends of the three immigrant men who drowned while rescuing a boy from the delta in Sacramento are hoping to send their bodies back to their native Guatemala.Wendy Rivas of Oakland started a GoFundMe for her father Edwin "Guistillo" Rivas, 57, and his friends, Edwin Perez, 22, and Danilo Gutiérrez, 40. All of them lived in Oakland, working jobs in construction. Friend William Ramos told KTVU that the men and other families vacationed together near Brannan Island every Fourth of July for camping and family fun. The trio had been fishing Sunday near the Three Mile Slough Bridge in Sacramento County, when they saw an 8-year-old who was with their group struggling in the water. They and two others jumped into the river and pulled the boy to safety, officials said. The boy had been wading into the water and got pulled away, and he wasn't wearing a life jacket. 3 men drown in Sacramento river after pulling an 8-year-old child out of the water.But only two men were able to get out of the water. Rivas, Perez and Gutiérrez never surfaced. Their bodies were recovered from the delta on Tuesday evening, according to the Rio Vista Fire Department. Their friend, Juan Cabrera, told KCRA3 all of them had tried to save the boy, but the strong winds and current were too much in the Sacramento San Joaquin River Delta system."Far too many lives have been lost in our waterways and in the lakes and rivers of Northern California over the past few weeks," the Rio Vista Fire Department said.

PHILADELPHIA - A Delaware community gathered Thursday for the welcomed return of a sorely missed outlet of summertime fun for kids and teens alike. "Play Streets," hosted in Wilmington, is a free event that closes down select streets for families and friends to partake in activities and sports. Organizers launched Play Streets in 2018, but they were forced to pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Organizers and parents say families need these community events, especially at a time when crime is up in cities across the country.  "It's definitely important for them to understand that they are safe in their communities, to come outside and have fun," Parent and Community Advocate Marlise Carr said.Basketball, hula-hoop, golf, jump rope and skateboarding were just a few of the activities that children and teens played in the first of eight planned block parties. "We have a responsibility to the community, we have to step up more into community partner - collaborate with no fear - because we move in spirit of love," Rashid Mustafa said. A full list of Play Street dates and locations have been posted on the City of Wilmington's social media pages.

Philadelphia police seek the driver of a blue Ford F 150 after an 11-year-old boy was struck on West Girard Avenue. WEST PHILADELPHIA - An 11-year-old boy is fighting for his life after he was struck by a driver in a pickup truck in West Philadelphia.Officials say the incident occurred on the 4200 block of West Girard Avenue Thursday evening, around 7:45.The boy was crossing Girard Avenue when a man driving a blue Ford F 150 struck him.

SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. - Authorities say they have found the remains of a man, missing since May, in a machine at a recycling plant in South Carolina. According to FOX 4, Kansas City, Duncan Alexander Burrell Gordan, 20 was reported missing on May 5. He was last seen during his graveyard shift at the Industrial Recycling & Recovery, Inc.

Ocean City, New Jersey TRENTON, N.J. - Pursuing happiness in New Jersey will come at the highest cost of the Delaware Valley, a new study reveals.The study published by Purdue University and Go Banking Rates shows just how much it costs residents in New Jersey to be happy.According to the study, which was published in the journal of Nature Human Behavior, income has a correlation with emotional well-being and life satisfaction. PHILADELPHIA - Authorities have identified a man accused of sexually assaulting a woman at an office building in Center City. Police say Willie L. Harris, 43, is accused of sexually assaulting a woman Tuesday afternoon in an office building on the 200 block of South 13th Street. Investigators believe the suspect went to the 8th floor of the building and entered an unlocked office just after 2 p.m. The 22-year-old victim was alone in the office because her co-worked stepped out to get lunch, according to police. Police are looking for a man they say sexually assaulted a 22-year-old inside an office building in Center City Tuesday afternoon.Investigators say the suspect demanded the victim stay seated as he rummaged through the office.

Wagner Tejeda-Pena, 24, is wanted for allegedly shooting a 76-year-old man who was out on his routine morning walk in Philadelphia in June 2021.  PHILADELPHIA - Police have announced the name of a homicide suspect wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of a man in Philadelphia. Authorities say 24-year-old Wagner Tejeda-Pena is wanted for the murder of 76-year-old Loi Nguyen, who was found shot once in the head near his driveway in the alleyway behind L and Claridge Streets in late June. Authorities say a man, identified by family members as 76-year-old Loi Nguyen, was shot in the head on his routine morning walk. Nguyen is remembered by neighbors for his friendliness.According to police, Ngueyn was out for his routine morning walk in his neighborhood when he was shot unprovoked. The incident was captured on surveillance video and footage from a neighbor is believed to show Tejeda-Pena running down an alleyway towards Hunting Park after the shooting. Police say the suspect is also wanted for an aggravated assault on the 1200 block of East Luzerne Street that took place about 15 minutes before the deadly shooting.According to authorities, Tejeda-Pena pulled out a handgun on two people and pulled the trigger several times, but the gun malfunctioned and did not fire.

Phil Murphy this week signed seven new bills into law aimed at curtailing gun violence, including legislation to allow the state attorney general to pursue lawsuits against the firearm industry.One measure requires safety training to get a firearm purchasers permit, and another bans .50-caliber weapons.

PHILADELPHIA - A Philadelphia teenager is facing charges after prosecutors say he fired an illegally owned gun several times into the air on Fourth of July. According to the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office, 18-year-old Jeremy Texidor posted video of himself on social media firing the gun into the air on the 3500 block of North Mascher Street in Philadelphia's Fairhill section. Authorities gave no indication that the arrest of Texidor is in any way linked to the 4th of July firework show shooting on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway that left two officers injured.

TRENTON, N.J. - New Jersey State Police announce arrests in a reported human trafficking ring, operating out of Trenton. Officials announced the arrest of eight individuals Wednesday, along with the dismantling of the ring, as a part of a four-month investigation.In January, according to authorities, detectives with the State Police Missing Persons and Human Trafficking Unit received information about a juvenile who had been trafficked from a residence on Hudson Street, in Trenton.A search warrant was executed and, in the process, detectives found two female victims in the residence.

PHILADELPHIA - Police say one man is dead and another was injured in a shooting in Kensington on Wednesday night. According to authorities, SEPTA and Philadelphia police officers responded to the 600 block of East Lippincott Street in Philadelphia's Kensington neighborhood. Officials say a 23-year-old man was found with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest, abdomen and legs. SEPTA police transported the victim to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 10:05 p.m. Another victim, a 40-year-old man, arrived at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital by private vehicle with a gunshot wound to the back, according to authorities. Police say he was treated and released from the hospital.

PAMPLONA, Spain - The first bull run in three years took place Thursday at the San Fermín festival in the Spanish city of Pamplona. No one was gored, but several runners took knocks and hard falls as tens of thousands of people reveled in the return of one of Europe's most famous traditional events.Six bulls guided by six tame oxen charged through Pamplona’s streets for around two minutes and 35 seconds without provoking too much carnage among the thousands of observers and participants cramming the course.Several runners were stomped, trampled or shoved to the cobblestone pavement.

PHILADELPHIA - A man is in critical condition after he was shot in North Philadelphia on Thursday, according to police. Authorities say officers responded to a 911 call for a shooting on the 2800 block of 6th Street around 2:40 a.m. Lt. PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia police are investigating a double shooting in Kensington that injured two people. According to Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small, the shooting took place just before 1 a.m. on Thursday near E Orleans Street and Kensington Avenue. Officers responded to the scene and found a 17-year-old girl who was shot two times in the lower back and once in the leg, according to Small.

FOX 2 - A Detroit police officer and a suspect have both been shot and killed near Joy Road and Marlowe Street Wednesday night. Police were responding to reports of the suspect shooting indiscriminately, using a Draco assault rifle - and the officer who was fatally wounded was among the first to the scene. YEADON, Pa. - Officials in Delaware County are investigating the death of a prisoner who died while in police custody Tuesday. The death happened inside the Yeadon Police Department sometime during the afternoon, according to officials. The Delaware County District Attorney's Office told FOX 29 that the investigation is still ongoing. Authorities have not shared the identity of the prisoner and have not said what lead up to the death. This is a developing story
