PHILADELPHIA - The sun has emerged after powerful storms moved through the Delaware Valley during the early hours of Thursday.
The National Weather Service issued several severe weather warnings, including a flash flood warning in all three states that will be in effect until 8:30 a.m.A Severe Thunderstorm Warning was issued for the area in the 5 a.m.
hour, but it has since been suspended. The last round of thunderstorms on the ultimate Doppler radar are now making their way offshore, according to FOX 29's Sue Serio.
Forecasters say one to two inches of rain fell in the area causing restrictions on I-95 due to flooding. FOX 29's Shaynah Ferreira was in Cherry Hill as the rain moved through southern New Jersey.
