PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia police have released new video in connection with the murder of a Philadelphia police officer’s son earlier this year.During a Tuesday press conference, authorities shared a new video compilation that showed the moments leading up the shooting that killed Hyram Hill Jr.The new video also contained images of two suspects. Police say those suspects, who they believe sell narcotics near Broad Street and Erie Avenue, were also on the scene of a domestic incident about 10-15 minutes before Hill was shot. One of the suspects was interviewed by police on the scene of the domestic incident and was recorded on police body camera video.

Daniel Barnett, 38, is facing charges in connection with the rape of a young girl over a six-year period.  PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, Pa. - A Plymouth Township man has been arrested and charged for sexually assaulting an elementary-school-aged girl during a six-year period from 1997 to 2003. According to the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office, 38-year-old Daniel Barnett was charged with 20 felony counts of rape of a child and related charges. The DA's office says the investigation began when the victim, who is now 29, reported to the Plymouth Township Police Department that she was raped by Barnett more than 100 times from the time she was five until she was about nine. Investigators then learned he was a friend of the victim's brother, according to officials. Police say the sexual abuse began with him touching her inappropriately over her clothes and then progressed to rape and other types of sexual assault. "This defendant was repeatedly sexually assaulting a very young girl for years," District Attorney Kevin R.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - A Kentucky jury has awarded a man $450,000 who sued his employer after he asked them not to celebrate his birthday at work — and they did it anyway.Kevin Berling told his manager at Gravity Diagnostics in Covington in 2019 that a birthday celebration would cause him immense stress.But the company didn’t heed his request, and Berling suffered a panic attack, the Courier Journal reported. The next day Berling had another panic attack when his supervisor chastised him for "stealing his co-workers’" joy and "being a little girl," according to a lawsuit.

Authorities say a 27-year-old man was shot several time Monday inside a North Philadelphia apartment.  PHILADELPHIA - Authorities say a man is expected to survive after he was shot several times Monday in the vestibule of a North Philadelphia apartment building. Officers from the Philadelphia Police Department were called to the 2800 block of North Broad Street around 4 p.m. for reports of a shooting. Officers found a 27-year-old man with gunshot wounds to the left leg, left side, and a graze wound to the head. The unnamed victim was brought to Temple University Hospital and placed in stable condition. No arrests were reported immediately following the shooting.

NEWARK - Authorities in Delaware have charged three young men for allegedly shooting two people with splatter balls from a car over the weekend. Justin Farrow, Nasir Hairston and Cincere Bowen, all 19-years-old, surrendered to police on Monday. They were each charged with two counts of third-degree assault, third-degree conspiracy and unlawfully dealing with a dangerous weapon. Officers from the Newark Police Department received two different reports about a person shot with splatter balls around noon Saturday.

LOS ANGELES - One of the men convicted in the 2018 death of rapper Mac Miller was sentenced Monday to 131 months — just shy of 11 years — for his role in supplying the late rapper fentanyl-laced pills which led to his fatal overdose in 2018.Ryan Reaves, 39, pleaded guilty last year to distributing fentanyl.Two others were also charged. Stephen Walter, 49, of Westwood, pleaded guilty to the distribution charge and is awaiting sentencing.
