Latest data shows 850 fewer Covid cases were recorded across Greater Manchester in the week to October 31. The date represents the latest available official statistics from the UK Health Security Agency.
Over the seven days to October 31, a total of 10,314 people tested positive for coronavirus across Greater Manchester, the data published on Thursday shows.
That represents an eight per cent drop in cases from the 11,164 positive tests recorded over the previous week. The latest infection rate data in the week to October 31 shows cases have gone up in only one area of Greater Manchester - Bury.
The weekly rates have fallen in eight other boroughs, but have remained the same in Salford. Trafford continues to have the highest coronavirus
