Tesco's new Frankie the French Bulldog cake has been slammed by vets who say flat-faced dogs shouldn't be used to promote goods.Britain's biggest supermarket has sparked the biggest cake row since M&S accused Aldi of copying their Colin the Caterpillar design.Experts at the British Veterinary Association (BVA) criticised the retail giant for using the pug's face for a cake as the popular breed can suffer breathing difficulties and other health issues.The £11 French Bulldog Cake is part of a range and depicts a Madeira sponge puppy with buttercream, raspberry jam, icing and edible decorations.But Daniella Dos Santos, of the BVA, told the Telegraph that a breed with health problems should not promote goods.
