The Taoiseach has said that two million people in Ireland are now fully vaccinated against Covid-19. In a post on Twitter, Micheal Martin also said that 70% of adults have now received at least one dose of a vaccine.
He praised the "brilliant effort by all the HSE staff and volunteers" involved in the rollout of the vaccination programme.
