The recall affects Sweet Loren’s Sugar Cookie Dough 12oz with a best-by date of December 1, 2022. The company wants people who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to gluten may develop an allergic reaction to the product. The agency said the oat flour used in the dough had traces of gluten despite being declared gluten-free. The FDA no illnesses have been reported so far.

Governor declares emergency over wildfire near Yosemite

WAWONA, Calif. - A fast-moving brush fire near Yosemite National Park exploded in size Saturday into one of California’s largest wildfires of the year, prompting evacuation orders for thousands of people and shutting off power to more than 2,000 homes and businesses.The Oak Fire started Friday afternoon southwest of the park near the town of Midpines in Mariposa County and by Saturday had grown to nearly 19 square miles (48 square kilometers), according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, or Cal Fire. It erupted as firefighters made progress against an earlier blaze that burned to the edge of a grove of giant sequoias in the southernmost part of Yosemite park.Evacuation orders were put in effect Saturday for over 6,000 people living across a several-mile span in the sparsely populated, rural area, said Daniel Patterson, a spokesman for the Sierra National Forest.ALSO: Bay Area firefighters help battle wildfire near YosemiteGov.

Police: Man struck, killed after getting kicked out of ride-share on Dewey Beach highway

DEWEY BEACH, Del. - A ride-share turned tragic for a group of friends as a chaotic scene unfolded on a Delaware highway early Sunday morning.Delaware State Police say the incident began when six friends hired a ride-share driver to pick them up around 1:44 a.m. On their way to a home in Bethany Beach, a disagreement reportedly erupted between the group and the driver. The driver then stopped on Route 1 and demanded the group get out of the vehicle, according to police.As the group exited the vehicle, police say a car hit one of the friends trying to avoid the ride-share vehicle.
