Scottish Government confirms four deaths and 359 new Covid cases in Tayside

The Scottish Government has confirmed four coronavirus deaths were reported in Tayside in the last 24 hours. The area's death toll - composed of people who first tested positive for the virus within the previous 28 days - rises to 825.

Data from Public Health Scotland also shows that 359 new cases were recorded overnight in the region. In total, Tayside has recorded 78,666 cases of Covid-19 since the pandemic began.
