But Michaela was shocked to find her friends had brought along a bridal veil to celebrate her upcoming wedding in the baking sun.
The 27-year-old was due to marry partner Tony McMullen last May but the nuptials were cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.Teacher Michaela is hopeful nothing will now stand in the way of them tying the knot next Month.She told the Record: "It's just been fantastic to catch up with all my friends and enjoy the sun."It's been the best day I could have hoped for, and with everything that's happened I've been lucky.
