COLLEGE STATION, Texas - It appears that Kyle Rittenhouse is coming to Texas for college. Rittenhouse, the Illinois teen acquitted of fatally shooting two men and wounding a third during protests in Kenosha, Wisconsin in 2020, posted pictures of himself at Texas A&M University on social media with the caption "Ready or not…!!!"Last week, the 19-year-old wrote "I’m thinking about staying" on an Instagram post, hinting at the possibility of attending the Texas college in College Station."ASU has been fun, but becoming an Aggie might be better.." he wrote in another Instagram post.During his trial in November, Rittenhouse said he was taking online courses at Arizona State University, but soon after the school said he was no longer enrolled at the school.

ASU officials released a statement at the time:"Kyle Rittenhouse has not gone through the admissions process with Arizona State University and is not enrolled in the Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation.

media release.The primary goal of the Australian COVID-19 vaccine program is to minimise the risk of severe disease, including hospitalisation and death, from COVID-19.Currently, the COVID-19 vaccination program is targeted at preventing severe disease, by providing additional protection to those with risk factors for severe disease. On 25 March 2022, ATAGI recommended an additional winter booster dose (4th dose for most people) for the highest risk groups: people aged 65 years and above, residents of aged care or disability care facilities, people with severe immunocompromise and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 50 years or above.In this updated advice, an additional winter booster is now also recommended for other people at increased risk, to be given 4 months after their first booster dose.

Latest recommendation updatesRecent ATAGI considerationsOn Wednesday 25 May 2022, ATAGI met to consider the latest developments relating to COVID-19 immunisation. As of 23 May 2022, over 58 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in Australia.Following a thorough examination of local and international evidence on the use of COVID-19 vaccines, booster doses and epidemiology, ATAGI have recommended the COVID-19 booster rollout program be expanded. A winter booster dose is now recommended for people aged 16-64 years who have:The Australian Government has accepted this recommendation and this change will take effect from Monday 30 May 2022.The primary goal of the Australian COVID-19 vaccine program is to minimise the risk of severe disease, including hospitalisation and death, from COVID-19.As such, ATAGI have recommended this change to ensure those who are at greater risk of developing severe disease receive the best possible protection throughout the winter months.Healthy people aged 16 to 64 who do not have a risk factor for severe disease and who have received three doses of COVID-19 vaccine are not recommended to receive a winter booster dose at this time.

PHILADELPHIA - Authorities say three teens were injured in a shooting Monday night in North Philadelphia, including a boy who investigators believe was chased down and shot. Officers from the Philadelphia Police Department were called to the area of 19th and Diamond for reports of a shooting. Captain John Walker told reporters that a 14-year-old girl and two 15-year-old boys were suffering from gunshot wounds by responding officers. All three teens were taken to Temple University Hospital by police. Walker said one of the boys who was shot in the hip and stomach is in critical condition. MORE LOCAL HEADLINESInvestigators believe that the victims were among a group of teens who came under fire when they turned on to North 19th Street. Neighbors reported hearing numerous gunshot fired and several teenagers running away. Walker said one of the 15-year-old victims was chased southbound on North 19th and shot multiple times.Authorities did not report any arrests immediately following the shooting.
