Authorties are invetigating a shooting at a party in Port Richmond that left 2 dead and 2 injured on Monday morning.  PHILADELPHIA - Police in Philadelphia are investigating a fatal shooting that took place in the city's Port Richmond neighborhood, according to authorities. According to police, the shooting happened just after 1 a.m. on Monday in the area of the 3000 block of E Tioga Street for a report of multiple gunshots. Authorities say when officers from the 24th District arrived, they found a large group of people who gathered for a Memorial Day event. Officials say four victims were found on scene, including a 14-year-old with a gunshot wound to the shoulder and a 21-year-old who was shot multiple times in the leg. A 16-year-old girl and a 21-year-old woman died from injuries sustained in the gunfire and they were both pronounced dead after being transported to the hospital. Captain Anthony Ginaldi says investigators are working to find out the cause of the shooting. Authorities also say 47 spent shell casings were found at the crime scene leading them to believe there were multiple shooters and multiple weapons. AdvertisementThis is a developing story.

Mtula Payton has been arrested in the downtown Sacramento shooting that left six dead last month. SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The third named suspect in a downtown mass shooting has been arrested in Las Vegas, according to the Sacramento Police Department.Mtula Payton, 27, was arrested Saturday by Las Vegas police and the FBI at a home in the 1300 Block of East Hacienda Avenue. Payton’s arrest comes almost two months after the gang feud erupted in gunfire before dawn on April 3 leaving six people dead.

Due to the nature of the incident, the Youth Services Criminal Investigations Division took up the case. The boy was arrested following an interview with detectives. "This student’s behavior is sickening, especially after the recent tragedy in Uvalde, Texas," stated Sheriff Carmine Marceno.

BEAR, Del. - Delaware State Police are investigating a fight that led to a chase and shooting near Bear.Officials say the fight began Saturday night, around 10 p.m., in the parking lot of a Wawa on the 2700 block of Pulaski Highway, in Newark. A 32-year-old Elkton man and a suspect had an altercation in the parking lot, which led the suspect to pull a gun.The Elkton man got into his vehicle and drove off, heading south, while being chased by the suspect.At the intersection of Route 896 and Howell School Road, officials say the suspect confronted the man again, pulling up alongside the man’s vehicle and firing the weapon.The man was shot in the head.

Maharashtra on Sunday registered 550 fresh Covid-19 cases, 21 more than the previous day, which raised the overall caseload to 78,85,944, while one death took the toll to 1,47,859, the state health department said.  On Saturday, the state had recorded 529 cases, but no virus-related death.  As many as 324 Covid-19 patients were discharged today, which pushed the recovery count to 77,35,088.  The state currently has 2,997 active coronavirus cases. Maharashtra's recovery rate is 98.09 per cent, while the fatality rate is 1.87 per cent.  With 375 new cases, Mumbai's infection count grew to 10,64,056.

LOGAN - Philadelphia police are investigating a triple shooting in Logan that injured two teens and a 63-year-old man.Police responded to the 4900 block of North 16th Street early Sunday, around 2:30 a.m., on the report of gunshots.According to officials, a 16 and 17-year-old were sitting on a stoop when a red SUV drove by, shooting a handgun out of an open window.The two teens were each struck by gunfire and a 63-year-old man inside of a home was shot in the hand.Authorities say 17 shots were fired.

Downtown Chattanooga area has left multiple people injured, according to reports. The exact number of victims is not yet known at this time but the Chattanooga Police Department said victims are believed to be young and in their teens or up to 20 years old, WTVC reported.The CPD officers also speculated the victims of the shooting may have been bystanders as large groups of juveniles were spotted in the area and the victims are not believed to have been directly involved in the incident, according to the report.One person of interest has been detained and police said there is no further threat to the public.However, officers are encouraging residents to avoid traveling in the area amid the ongoing investigation. This is a developing situation.AdvertisementRead more from FOX News

China's attempts to remove all traces of Covid from the country have now taken a strange twist.A new edict from officials has been given to funeral homes, and it demands that they test the dead for the virus which is still ravaging the country.The government-backed Shenzhen Funeral Home was given the order last week, after case numbers in the city continued to be reported.Across the entire country, new cases discovered were reported to be 6,392 yesterday (May 28), with around 64,488 active cases across the entire country.Since the pandemic began, China has had more than 1.2 million cases – but only 5,226 deaths.This hasn't stopped the Chinese government from pushing ahead with its “zero Covid” policy, which is something Labour's Richard Burgon pushed for in the UK throughout the pandemic.And now a funeral home in Shenzhen has been told to test the dead for Covid.The hope is, is that anyone who tests positive will be isolated so that mourners won't catch Covid at open-casket funerals.The edict was shown to website Sixth Tone, who said: “An operator at Shenzhen’s city service hotline said they were unable to locate official documents and policies requiring a nucleic acid test of the deceased.“Shenzhen has made negative results from the past 72 hours mandatory to access public transport and crowded spaces since early April.“Such requirements sometimes resulted in tragedies for those in urgent need of medical treatment during the lockdown in other cities.”The testing of the dead policy was slammed by some online locally as “ethically and emotionally unacceptable”, while being criticised for showing “little respect to the dead”.One user on Chinese social media site Weibo wrote: “I’m not sure if I would have to wear a mask for
