Police say a man is dead after he was shot multiple times in the chest on Tuesday night in West Philadelphia. PHILADELPHIA - Police are investigating two separate shootings that left a man dead in West Philadelphia and a woman dead in Frankford on Tuesday night.At around 7:31 p.m., police say they responded to the 5400 block of Pearl Street where they found a 30-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest.
Authorities say the victim was transported to Presbyterian Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 7:44 p.m. Officials say they also responded to the 1800 block of Harrison Street at around 8:14 p.m.
for reports of gunshots. Upon arrival, authorities say they found a 29-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to the left side of her back.
