Perth and Kinross residents will be able to travel anywhere in Scotland from this Friday (April 16) as the 'stay local' guideline is lifted.
People will be able to visit other council areas for "outdoor socialising, recreation and informal exercise".It marks an acceleration of COVID lockdown easing as the 'stay local' restriction was previously set to be lifted on April 26.At her COVID briefing this afternoon (April 13) Nicola Sturgeon added that outdoor meeting restrictions will also be eased from Friday, with six adults from six households allowed.Travel restrictions to England and Wales will also be lifted from April 26.The lifting of other restrictions will remain for April 26, including the reopening of hospitality and retail.
