Get the stories that matter to you sent straight to your inbox with our daily newsletter.An Annan man has told how he has been left crippled waiting on a double hip replacement operation.Robert Watson claims he has become almost bedbound and is struggling to care for himself.And he says delays blamed on Covid have left him “frustrated and in pain”.The former dairyman had to give up work and leave his tied accommodation because he could no longer carry out his role in the farming industry.He said: “I can hardly do anything for myself now, I’m so frustrated, this isn’t a life.“For the past three months I’ve hardly been able to walk, I can hardly stand at all.
