A pastor who claimed he had cured coronavirus through his faith has died from the virus. Frankline Ndifor, based in Douala, Cameroon, would "lay his hands" on dozens of infected supporters and pray for their healing.
The 39-year-old had a reputation as a "miracle healer" and was a candidate in the central African state of Cameroon presidential election in 2018.
His death sparked a frenzy in Cameroon with police having to use force to gain access to his residence which was blocked by his supporters praying for his resurrection, reports Voice of America news.
