Nicola Sturgeon to give covid update on lockdown levels across Scotland

Level 2. Changes are due to come into effect in a weeks time on June 7. With cases on the rise in some parts of the country it's expected not every area of the country will shift down a level next.

Glasgow, currently in Level 3, is expected to move to Level 2 on Saturday with a decision to be delivered no later than tomorrow, Wednesday.

Health Secretary Humza Yousaf revealed yesterday that parts of the mainland may remain in Level 2 until the number of cases start to fall.Concerns have been raised in a number of areas including in Edinburgh where Sturgeon's adviser Professor Devi Sridhar said it wasn't "looking great".She tweeted: "Edinburgh's not looking great.
