Manchester United face competition in the race for Kalidou Koulibaly’s signature from Paris St-Germain, who have reportedly held talks with the Napoli star’s agent.
Koulibaly, 28, is widely considered one of the top defenders in European football right now, having proved a mainstay in Napoli’s backline since joining from Genk in 2014.
The Italian outfit have reportedly turned down numerous offers for him over the years, with United among a host of potential suitors.
Despite forking out a world-record £80m fee on Harry Maguire last summer, it is believed the Red Devils are still eyeing up a move for Koulibaly in the next transfer window.
