Serbia’s defense minister confirmed that all eight crew members died in the crash.The An-12 cargo plane from Serbia was being flown by a Ukrainian aviation crew before it smashed into fields between two Greek villages late Saturday. ROXBOROUGH - A 96-year-old woman is dead and a man is in custody, suspected in her death, in Roxborough.Officials said police were called to the 4200 block of Houghton Street Sunday afternoon, just after 1 p.m., for a disturbance.A 96-year-old woman was found dead in a living room inside a residence when they arrived. According to authorities, the woman sustained blunt force trauma to her head and body and died at the scene.Police said the weapon was found at the location and a man was taken into custody.

JUNIATA PARK - A 52-year-old man is hospitalized with critical injuries after he was shot multiple times in Philadelphia's Juniata Park neighborhood.Officials said 24th District police responded to the 3900 block of L Street Sunday, just before 2 p.m., on the report of a person shot.Police arrived to find the man in a driveway suffering from six gunshot wounds to his abdomen.Medics rushed the man to Temple University Hospital, where he was placed in critical condition.Police are actively investigating a motive into the shooting.

PHILADELPHIA - A man died after an apparent accident during a concert at Lincoln Financial Field last week, according to an Eagles spokesperson.Officials say the man fell from an escalator inside the Eagles stadium as The Weeknd concert was coming to an end on July 14.

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. - Police are alerting residents to an investigation currently in process in Rehoboth Beach Sunday afternoon.Increased police presence may be seen in the area surrounding East Atlantic Apartments on Atlantic Circle.Police described the investigation as criminal.No further information was given regarding the details of the investigation.This is a developing story.

PHILADELPHIA - Police say a teenage boy became the victim of another weekend shooting in Philadelphia.The 17-year-old suffered gunshot wounds to the elbow and leg, according to police. He was transported to Frankford-Torresdale Hospital, where he was placed in critical but stable condition.Police say the shooting erupted on the 1800 block of Harrison street around 11:37 p.m.

BUENA PARK, Calif. - Knott's Berry Farm closed early Saturday night after several people were injured when multiple fights broke out inside the park, according to Buena Park policeReports of incidents at the park came in just before 8 p.m., according to the Orange County Fire Authority. Initial reports suggested that there was some sort of shooting incident at the park, but police have determined there was no evidence to suggest a shooting happened. "We’re currently working an incident at Knotts Berry Farm involving multiple fights in the park," the department told FOX 11.

CAMDEN, N.J. - A Camden man has been charged with murder in connection with a deadly June shooting, officials announced.Derrick Miller, a 36-year-old Camden resident, was charged with one count of first-degree murder in the fatal shooting of 37-year-old Charles Copling III, also of Camden.According to officials, the shooting happened on June 17, just before noon, on the 1200 block of Decatur Street.Responding officers found Copling on the ground, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to Cooper University Hospital, where he died from his injury later that same day.Miller is already incarcerated in the Camden County Correctional Facility on other charges.

A Philadelphia Police supervisor was injured after the cruiser he was driving was rear-ended in Upper Roxborough. UPPER ROXBOROUGH - A 5th District Philadelphia Police supervisor was injured after the vehicle he were driving was rear-ended by a civilian.Officials say the accident occurred on the 8700 block of Ridge Avenue, in Philadelphia’s Upper Roxborough section, Saturday, around 6 p.m.The supervisor was on routine patrol when the driver of a white Chevrolet hit the police vehicle from behind.The supervisor was transported by medics to Einstein Medical Center, where he was expected to be treated for his injuries and released.The driver of the Chevrolet was also transported to Einstein by medics, but is being held in custody for a DUI.

JIM THORPE, Pa. - A former Pennsylvania police chief convicted of rape of a child has been sentenced to 16 to 32 years in prison, state prosecutors said.The Pennsylvania attorney general's office said the sentence was imposed Friday on 30-year-old Brent Getz following his conviction on rape and sexual abuse charges in a jury trial in Carbon County in March.After his 2019 arrest, Getz was fired from his job as police chief in Weissport, a town of some 400 residents 77 miles (124 kilometers) northwest of Philadelphia.A co-defendant who pleaded guilty to child rape in November 2020 and testified against Getz was sentenced to 10 to 20 years in prison. Authorities said both men were adolescents when the abuse began.

Jesenea Miron RIVERSIDE, Calif. - A woman was arrested on Thursday for allegedly impersonating a nurse and attempting to steal a newborn baby from a hospital in Riverside, the sheriff's department announced.Jesenea Miron, 23, was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center for kidnapping charges and is currently being held on a $1 million bail.The Riverside County Sheriff's Department said that around 10:30 a.m. Thursday, deputies were notified by hospital staff of an individual impersonating a nurse at the Riverside University Health System - Medical Center.Deputies said they later learned that Miron entered the hospital posing as a newly hired nurse and gained access to a medical unit where newborn infants were kept.

FAIRFIELD, Ohio - A woman, caught on video warning a family about their burning home, is being hailed as an angel.  It happened in Fairfield, Ohio around 1 a.m.

HARRISBURG, Pa. - It has been more than three years since Deana DeRosa Eckman was killed in a head-on collision in Delaware County and now a new law in her honor is targeting repeat DUI offenders like the one who was behind the wheel of the truck that hit her. The legislation, dubbed Deana's Law after DeRosa Eckman, has been signed into law Friday. According to Delaware Representative Chris Quinn, who authored the bill, it will better protect drivers in Pennsylvania. "Today marks the end of an effort that began more than three years ago, shortly after the tragic and senseless death of Deana DeRosa Eckman," Quinn said.

PHILADELPHIA - Homicide detectives with the Philadelphia Police Department are investigating a shooting that left one man dead in Kensington on Friday morning. According to authorities, the shooting occurred on the 1800 block of Glenwood Avenue just after 11 a.m. Police say a man, who is currently classified as a John Doe, was shot once in the abdomen and another time in the right arm. MORE LOCAL HEADLINESHe was transported to Temple University Hospital, but he did not survive and was pronounced dead at 11:25 a.m., according to officials. Police say no arrest has been made and the weapon has not been recovered.

PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia police say a teenager has turned himself in for the shooting of a man at the 15th Street Station. FOX 29's Steve Keeley obtained photos of the alleged suspect from law enforcement sources. This person, pictured in two different outfits, is wanted in connection with a shooting at the 15th Street SEPTA Station, sources tell FOX 29.  According to police, the shooting occurred on Thursday at the 15th Street Station in Center City around 12:30 p.m. Authorities say a 19-year-old man was shot in the chest, stomach and hand before he was taken to Jefferson Hospital and placed in critical condition. SEPTA officials say the victim and the shooter spoke with a third person after exiting a train before the shooting began.Charles Lawson, SEPTA's Acting Police Chief, says the victim and another man got off an eastbound Market-Frankford Line train at the 15th Street Station. According to Lawson, the two got into a verbal disagreement with a third person resulting in the victim and the suspect both pulling out guns. Police say the suspect shot the victim and ran out of the station. Sources tell FOX 29 that the shooter was seen in distinctive yellow sneakers. On Friday, police announced that a 14-year-old turned himself in to police. The firearm used in the shooting is still missing and charges are pending, police say. Philadelphia Chief Inspector Frank Vanore says there was a 15-year-old was with the suspect at the time, but they do not believe he is involved and he is not expected to be charged. Surveillance video obtained by police showed him in the act, according to police. "Yes, I watched the video," Vanore said.
