Love Island stars ‘claiming COVID furlough cash for their companies’

Despite reportedly making millions since leaving the villa, several Love Island stars have been claiming furlough during the pandemic for their businesses.

Reality stars Kem Cetinay and Gabby Allen are among the stars who are claiming the benefit for their companies. Married Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen, who are thought to have a combined wealth of £4.4million (€5 million), have also availed of the scheme.

The companies ran by the four stars, who appeared on the show in 2017 and 2016, all appear on a list of employers availing of the scheme which was published by the British Government.

Any eligible business can claim from the scheme to help pay staff wages while the pandemic and lockdown continues. Olivia and Alex are claiming for OAB
