MOHAVE COUNTY, Ariz. - A man accused of placing a tracking device on another person's car in Mohave County has been arrested.According to the Mohave County Sheriff's Office, 25-year-old Cristian Gonzalez, a resident of Laughlin, Nevada, was arrested on March 14 after a man told authorities he found an Apple AirTag on his car."Deputies arrived and made contact with the victim, who advised he had located the tracker and believed it was placed by Gonzalez," the sheriff's office said in a news release.The victim also said he had an active order of protection against Gonzalez stemming from a previous incident.Deputies took the Apple AirTag and drove around town, eventually stopping at a park in Bullhead City."Approximately five minutes later, deputies observed a vehicle drive by their location and visually identified the driver as Gonzalez," the sheriff's office said.Gonzalez told the deputies he had a gun in his car and was taken into custody.During an interview with deputies, Gonzalez allegedly admitted to placing the AirTag on the victim's car. He also said he drove to the victim's house to take photos before driving to the park where he would confront the victim.Gonzalez was arrested and booked into jail.Cristian Gonzalez, 25, is accused of placing an Apple AirTag tracking device on another man's car in Mohave County.

Richard Michael Frank, 51, has been sentenced to jail time after being convicted of sexually assaulting an 11-year-old.  BUCKS COUNTY, Pa - A former Philadelphia police lieutenant has been sentenced to jail time for sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl, according to the Bucks County District Attorney. Richard Michael Frank, 51, was a Philadelphia police officer from 1999 to October 2019, when he was arrested, the DA says. Investigators began looking into Frank when a report of suspected child abuse was filed, according to authorities. Police say the child was interviewed at the Bucks County Children's Advocacy Center and she told investigators with the Southampton Police Department she was sexually abused by Frank from July to August of 2017 while he was supervising her. The victim's mother said Frank used his position of authority to abuse the child, saying, "he thought he was above the law," according to the DA's office. After a four-day trial, Frank was convicted of indecent assault, endangering the welfare of a child and corruption of minors. Judge Raymond F.

TOKYO (AP) - A powerful 7.3 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Fukushima in northern Japan on Wednesday evening, triggering a tsunami advisory and plunging more than 2 million homes in the Tokyo area into darkness.The region is part of northern Japan that was devastated by a deadly 9.0 quake and tsunami 11 years ago that also caused nuclear plant meltdowns.The Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings, which operates the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant where the cooling systems failed after the 2011 disaster, said that workers were checking for any possible damage.The Japan Meteorological Agency said the quake hit at 11:36 p.m. at a depth of 60 kilometers (36 miles) below the sea.The agency issued a tsunami advisory for up to a meter (3-foot) sea surge in parts of Miyagi and Fukushima prefectures.

OCHOPEE, Fla. - Biologists say they have now documented "antagonistic" interactions between a Florida bobcat and a python at the Big Cypress National Preserve in the Everglades.The team of biologists from the USGS Fort Collins Science Center in Colorado caught the footage while observing the Burmese python, an invasive species to Florida, when its nest was discovered by the native bobcat. The researchers explained what happened in the footage, which was recorded in June 2021."First, a bobcat discovers an unguarded nest then proceeds to depredate, cache, and uncover the eggs over several days.
