Scotland to scrap pre-departure Covid tests for travellers as rules relax
holidaymakers will not be required to take a Covid test before their arrival into Scotland from a non-red listed country, under new plans announced today. The Scottish Government says that the rules on testing will be eased in line with similar rules implemented south of the border.Officials say that Scotland will also align with the UK on its post-arrival testing scheme - the details of which are still being finalised. It is likely that travellers will be required to take a lateral flow test within two days of their arrival in Scotland from a non-red country.Further measures on inward travel are also being considered to guard against the importation of variants of concern.

COVID-19: Nasal antibody spray could be ‘future’ of vaccines, experts says
COVID-19 treatment, developed from tiny llama antibodies, could potentially be the future of administering vaccines and protecting against infectious diseases, according to some experts.Researchers at the Rosalind Franklin Institute in the U.K. have found that nanobodies, a smaller form of antibody developed by llamas and camels, could effectively target the virus that causes COVID-19 infections. In a statement, researchers at the institute said that they were able to create nanobodies by injecting a part of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein into a llama called Fifi.
