Kate Ferdinand has broken her silence after losing her baby in a tragic miscarriage. She wrote: “I’ve been taking time off of my phone to be with my family but have just caught up with all of your messages. “Thank you so much for all of your love and well wishes. ” The former reality TV star shared the news with her Instagram followers on Wednesday.

Alongside a black and white photo of her legs resting on the edge of a hospital bed, Ferdinand, 31, wrote: "The last time I was in this hospital I was having Cree, but this time it was because our baby had no heartbeat in our 12 week scan and I had to have surgery. PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia Police Department is reforming its cold case investigation branch that was forced into dormancy as homicides surged across the city and stretched resources thin. "It was very unfortunate, but the cold cases ended up going by the wayside," Captain Jason Smith from the department's homicide unit told FOX 29's Kelly Rule. There are currently more than 4,000 unsolved murders in Philadelphia dating back to 1990, and just last year the city set a historically bloody benchmark of 562 killings. Smith said as homicides continued to pour in, he was forced to begin assigning investigators from the Cold Case Unit to probe active homicides. MORE LOCAL HEADLINES"We will continue to work those investigations, but in order to do that effectively I need a team of investigators dedicated to that purpose; to work on cold case investigations," Smith said. The department's revamped Cold Case Unit currently consists of two teams and four investigators, but Smith expects to double the unit's manpower by mid-September. Together, the team will work off tips and pull old case files to meticulously go through the details of the thousands of unsolved murders.

WASHINGTON - Fourteen of the 15 boxes recovered from former President Donald Trump's Florida estate early this year contained documents with classification markings, including at the top secret level, according to an FBI affidavit released Friday explaining the justification for this month's search of the property.The 32-page affidavit, even in its heavily redacted form, offers the most detailed description to date of the government records being stored at Trump's Mar-a-Lago property long after he left the White House and reveals the gravity of the government's concerns that the documents were there illegally.Mobile app users, click here to view the redacted affidavit"The government is conducting a criminal investigation concerning the improper removal and storage of classified information in unauthorized spaces, as well as the unlawful concealment or removal of government records," an FBI agent wrote on the first page of the affidavit in seeking a judge's permission for a warrant to search the property.The affidavit does not provide new details about the 11 sets of classified records recovered during the Aug. 8 search at Mar-a-Lago but instead concerns a separate batch of 15 boxes that the National Archives and Records Administration retrieved from the home in January.In those boxes, according to the affidavit, officials located 184 documents bearing classification markings, including 25 documents marked as top secret.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, N.J. - Officials with the Camden County Health Department have announced a probable case of monkeypox associated with a camp in Gloucester Township. This brings the county's total to 23 cases of monkeypox. According to health department officials, a lab test with a positive result was reported on Wednesday. After the positive result came back, the department launched an investigation per authorities. Officials did not say if the person who tested positive was a camper or staff. RELATED HEADLINESThe person is isolating and officials say individuals who were in close contact have been notified. The county has also scheduled a post-exposure prophylaxis vaccine clinic for those who were determined to have intermediate exposure. Officials are reminding people to be vigilant to help limit the spread of the virus. "Although this case is concerning, health officials on a county and statewide level have acted quickly to mitigate the further spread of this virus.
