Trafford continues to have the highest coronavirus infection rate in England - and cases are still rising sharply. The borough saw the highest week-on-week increase in infections, with more than 2,000 positive tests in the seven days to October 9.
Trafford's infection rate is currently 844.3 cases per 100,000 people, according to the latest data from the UK Health Security Agency.

No one seems to know as display is 'under review' Across Greater Manchester as a whole, the infection rate is now 411.7 cases per 100,000 people.
