The federal government announced Wednesday that fully vaccinated Canadians are expected to be able to skip the hotel quarantine and the 14-day COVID-19 isolation on their return to the country starting in July.
Health Minister Patty Hajdu added Canadians would be required to have received two doses at least 14 days before arrival in the country and get a test both before their flight and after arrival, as well as isolate until they receive a negative test.
