Velasquez, 39, of Gilroy, was formally arraigned on Wednesday with 10 counts of attempted murder and multiple gun assault charges in connection with an alleged act of vengeance.He's being accused of firing his .40-caliber handgun at Harry Goularte – charged with molesting a child – and ramming the truck that Goularte was in.
Goularte's mother and stepfather were in the car too. Goularte's stepfather was struck by a bullet and is expected to survive.
