Eligible groups across Lanarkshire are now being invited to get their flu vaccination or their flu and Covid autumn booster.The programme has already started to vaccinate eligible care home residents.Now care home staff, the housebound and frontline health and social care staff and appointment letters are now being issued for the other prioritised eligible groups.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

If someone receives an appointment and either the date or time is unsuitable or there is difficulty getting to the location, there is the option to reschedule through the NHS Inform online booking portal at https://vacs.nhs.scot/csp.
Susan Frew, service manager for Lanarkshire’s Vaccination Programme, said: "We will be offering every eligible Lanarkshire resident the opportunity of further protection this winter through both the flu and autumn Covid booster and we would encourage anyone eligible for either the flu or the flu and booster to attend their appointment."Unfortunately, people may need to try a few dates and if they can travel they can book other vaccination centres including within other health boards."This will be a very busy time for the service and I would also ask that people do
