LOS ANGELES - Authorities Friday said foul play was not suspected at this time in the death of Valentin Broeksmit, the self-described "comically terrible spy" who is believed to have worked with federal authorities investigating the activities of Deutsche Bank and its ties with former President Donald Trump.Broeksmit, 45, was found dead about 7 a.m. Monday on the campus of Woodrow Wilson High School in the 4500 block of Multnomah Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.The Los Angeles County coroner's office has listed the cause of his death as "deferred pending additional investigation."Officers were sent to the school on a "death investigation" call, the LAPD reported."Upon arrival, the officers were directed by school staff to the location of the man, who was later identified as Valentin Broeksmit," police said in a statement released on Friday."Broeksmit was found lying on the ground in a courtyard of the school," police said.

PHILADELPHIA - As investigators work to determine what sparked a Kensington rowhome fire that killed a father and his three children last weekend, Philadelphia is battling a backlog of unfulfilled smoke alarm requests.Yamalier, 5, Yadriel, 9, and 12-year-old Alexangel Arroyo-Santana perished in a rowhome fire early Sunday morning on the 3200 block of Hartville Street in Kensington. Neighbors say their father, Alexis, also died in the blaze after he told his wife to jump out a window to safety while he went further into the home to save the children. "He had a chance to jump out, but he ended up telling his wife to jump out of the window. He’ll get the children, so he died a hero," a neighbor who asked to remain anonymous said.Fire investigators have not pinpointed what started the fire, but they said no smoke alarms were sounding when firefighters arrived. The School District of Philadelphia identified three children killed in a rowhome fire as Yamalier, 5, Yadriel, 9, and 12-year-old Alexangel.

NORTH PORT, Fla. - The family of Gabby Petito says Brian Laundrie's parents knew before going on a family vacation to Fort DeSoto park that their son had killed his girlfriend and left her body in a national park in Utah, according to new documents filed in Sarasota County court.Joseph Petito and Nichole Schmidt, Gabby's mother and father, filed a civil lawsuit against Laundrie's parents, accusing them of knowing their son murdered their daughter, but new documents shed light on when they are accused of knowing their son's alleged crimes. The lawsuit, which is expected to be heard by a jury in 2023, seeks more than $100,000 in damages for causing the Petitos pain, suffering, and mental anguish. According to court documents, the Petito family says Brian killed Gabby on August 27, 2021. "Her cause of death was blunt force injuries to the head and neck with manual strangulation," the suit says.The Petitos say Brian sent text messages to and from his and Gabby's phones in an effort to conceal that she was dead. NORRISTOWN, Pa. - Former Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane is back behind bars after she allegedly violated her probation when she was charged with driving under the influence last month. Kane surrendered to authorities in Montgomery County on Friday, a day after a judge had issued a bench warrant for her arrest. Last month, Scranton police were called to the scene of a two-car crash and said Kane was found behind the wheel of an Audi. PHILADELPHIA - As gun violence continues to rise across Pennsylvania, officials declare a plan to get ghost guns off the streets.Pennsylvania Gov.
