Big heart, huge smile. Everybody loved her,” James said.“Everybody looked up to her for advice and mentorship and guidance, and she gave, and gave, and gave.”The 57-year-old mother and grandmother first started showing symptoms at the end of May.

Within days, she was rushed to St. Boniface Hospital, after which she was flown to Victoria Hospital in southern Ontario. Mom with COVID-19 died after.
