Last Tuesday, there were 914 hospitalizations with 278 in ICU.The province recently began distinguishing between those who were admitted to hospital directly because of COVID, and those who were admitted for other reasons but tested positive for the virus.Of the 779 people in hospital with COVID-19, 44 per cent of them were admitted because of the virus, while 56 per cent were admitted for other reasons but tested positive for COVID-19.Of the 246 people in ICUs with the virus, 82 per cent were admitted because of COVID, while 18 per cent were admitted for other reasons.

COLLINGDALE, Pa. - A Delaware County teenager was honored Monday for his brave rescue of three children who had fallen through an icy pond at a local park last month. Anthony Alexander Jr., 16, said he was playing basketball with his friends at Collingdale Park on an unseasonably warm Tuesday afternoon when a little girl frantically ran up to him asking for help. "Yelling dramatically like ‘Can u help me!? My friends are down at the lake are drowning, and they need help!' I’m like ‘oh snap this is real!’," Alexander Jr. told FOX 29. Alexander called 911 and raced down to the 8-foot deep pond to save the children from the frigid water.

FOX NEWS - Airbnb users found another way to give back to Ukrainians as the conflict with Russia continues – they're booking stays.Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky tweeted Thursday that users are booking stays in Ukraine that "they don’t intend to stay in" just so they can funnel money directly to hosts whose country has been under attack by Russian forces since last week. Since the war erupted, Airbnb has temporarily waived all guest and host fees on all bookings in Ukraine. This means that Airbnb is not profiting from any stays in the country.
