PHILADELPHIA - A Philadelphia catholic school has expelled female students who were allegedly filmed using racist language in a video that spread on social media. A spokesperson for St. Hubert Catholic School for Girls said the students were identified through an investigation that included the Philadelphia Police Department. FOX 29 is not showing the video, but it allegedly shows students making racist comments and spraying something on another girl whose face is painted black."The young women who were responsible for this situation have been identified, and they are no longer members of this school community," a letter to families read. The school did not specify exactly how many of its students were expelled, but they previously confirmed that three females were involved in the video. Lancaster County candy firm fined after 2 workers fall into vat of chocolate

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. - Federal workplace safety authorities have fined a central Pennsylvania confectionary factory more than $14,500 following an accident last year in which two workers fell into a vat of chocolate.The Occupational Safety and Health Administration cited Mars Wrigley in the June accident at the Elizabethtown M&M/Mars factory, saying the workers were not authorized to work in the tanks and weren't trained on the proper safety procedures for the equipment.Officials said two workers employed by an outside contracting firm fell into the partially filled chocolate tank while doing maintenance work. COLOMBO (News 1st) – The Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court is expected to deliver its ruling on bail for Wasantha Mudalige, the convener of the Inter-University Student's Federation. Wasantha Mudalige, the convener of the Inter-University Student's Federation, was escorted to the Colombo Chief Magistrate' Court on Tuesday (31) morning.Mudalige was arrested under the provisions of the Prevention of Terorrism Act, and remains in remand custody pending advice from the Attorney General.
