A West Lothian woman has shared her experience of struggling with her mental health in the hope it will help others.Angela McCrimmon said she was told by family members to “pull yourself together” and says more needs to be done to stop the stigma that’s often attached to people in the same situation.She is supporting The Scottish Mental Illness Stigma Survey, launched on Monday (November 29) by See Me and the Mental Health Foundation Scotland, with Glasgow Caledonian University, which seeks to find out more about the experiences and views of people with complex mental health problems.Angela, from Livingston, was diagnosed with bipolar disorder at the age of 19.She has since faced stigma and discrimination in a range of different settings.An
